Do you find Alps ink hard to find? |
On May 7, 2003,
Daisytek Inc., one of the largest U.S. office
products suppliers filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy. Daisytek not only supplied Alps Micro
Dry Cartridges to large office suppliers but several hundred smaller companies as
well. As a result of the Daisytek's filings, the Alps Micro Dry
Cartridges started to become difficult to find on a
consistent basis. This site was setup
originally to help customers locate these
hard-to-find items but has evolved into an Alps
Printer information site as well. Since its creation we've helped
thousands of customers (both large and small) find
the Alps printer ink they need to keep their printers and their businesses going-
Consistently! We hope we're able to help you
find the information or Alps products you're looking
for. |

Have these
cartridges been discontinued? As far as we've
been able to determine the Alps Micro Dry ink cartridges
will continue to be manufactured overseas until at least
the end of 2008.
Alps Electronics will then reevaluate the demand
and determine if they will continue to produce
them.
If you do not
already know, there are already compatible Alps
printer ink cartridges available for the
standard Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow colors.
These are manufactured by Citizen and there are
links below to these products where you can find
more information. We have not heard if
Citizen will make other ink cartridges to fill
the demand if Alps discontinues this line, but
these have proved to be a great reliable
replacement and are always in stock.
